There is something profoundly different about sitting on a horse without a saddle between you. You notice every breath, every step, and every shift in movement. The Grounded Ride was created for women who are longing to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend intentional time reconnecting with nature, horses, and themselves. This private, one-on-one experience begins long before the ride itself. You'll meet your horse, learn about their unique personality, and spend time grooming and preparing them while discovering how horses communicate through body language and trust. Rather than rushing to the trail, we'll move at a slower pace, creating space to simply be present. Once your horse is ready, we'll head out on a gentle bareback ride through the quiet trails, open fields, and peaceful beauty of Spirit Valley. Without a saddle, many riders find they feel more in tune with the horse's movement and more connected to the natural world around them. We'll pause often to appreciate the scenery, listen to the sounds of the farm, and enjoy moments that are rarely found in everyday life. This is not an athletic challenge or a lesson in advanced riding. It is an invitation to experience horses differently—with curiosity, mindfulness, and appreciation for the quiet partnership that develops between horse and rider. Because safety and the well-being of our horses are our highest priorities, this experience is intentionally limited to one guest at a time and is offered only when conditions and rider ability make bareback riding appropriate.
