The Farm

Our 150 acre farm is located in the upper Dry Creek Valley community and the Dry Creek creek runs along the entire east side of the property. To the west are 1200ft ridges that many of our trails are cut into. Between the ridges and the creek is our own private valley that includes 20 acres of fields that grow haylage in the spring and soybeans in the winter. The property has several natural features including the creek, a spring-fed waterfall, caves, and our breathtaking ridges.

We are also fortunate to have great history on our farm! It is home to the Zenith Cripps cemetery which has 16 marked graves with the earliest birth year being 1845! This family also owned an operated the Cripps Mill which is located on a property just down the road. The mill was fed by a spring that poured from the mouth of the Cripps Mill Cave which hosts endangered gray bats and is closed for most of the year (if you're interested in touring the cave, we can get you in contact with a local guide).

Additionally in the early 1900's one of the first schools in the valley, named Dry Creek School, was erected on the farm just across the creek.

We are excited to share more details with you about the history we have uncovered during your visit!
