Acrylic Paints
Duncan Bisq-Stain® Opaque Acrylics are water-based acrylic colors that can be intermixed to create an array of color tones, tints and shades. Because all colors are opaque, in most cases, you can easily apply one over another, blocking out the underlying color. These paints dry within a few hours and have a gloss finish, perfect for taking home after you finish your project!
They are not suitable for dinnerware (cups, plates, etc) and are best used for decorative items.
Ceramic Glazes
We offer Mayco Foundations and Jungle Gems glazes which must be fired in a kiln to cure. The Foundations glazes are true-to-color and fire glossy, while the Jungle Gems give you unique patterns and pops of color. When fired, these can be dinnerware safe (Jungle Gems on external surfaces only). For an additional charge, we will fire your piece and have it ready for pick up or mailed to your home.
